Abstract:
The aim of this study is to compile a compendium of indicators relevant to post-school education and training (PSET) and the labour market – one that is related to labour demand, supply and the matching thereof and is based on South African examples.
Establishing, defining and using labour market indicators are critical to managing the performance of all aspects of the PSET system and the labour market. These indicators are a vital output of labour market information, especially for those with decision-making responsibilities.
